Vernon believes that if a person who invests in himself or herself knows how to recognize good investments, and he learnt it the hard way. Starting out as a terrible student, Vernon was exposed to NLP and turned his academic life around. After having excelled in Polytechnic, Vernon became a student of Sociology in one of Singapore’s top universities Nanyang Technological University, which he later graduated with Honors. It was there when he found time to start 4 different businesses, including a student tour agency and a catering enterprise. By then, Vernon had also taken part in numerous speech competitions and emerged victorious.
Vernon believes that not all speakers are leaders, but all great leaders are great speakers. The mark of true leadership is Influence. Currently holding various leadership positions in business networking groups and public speaking organizations, Vernon believes that all trainers must always be on the cutting edge. Professionally Vernon serves his students and mentees as an Influence Coach with Acme Achievers where he leads the Dynamic Influence Series of workshops, imparting powerful and potent subconscious techniques to empower his clients.
Vernon has trained and coached in large MNCs to Varsity Campuses to individual sales people and takes great pleasure in seeing his students apply NLP techniques to achieve more in life. Only when a person makes a difference will he really matter.
